The museum Nueva Tabarca is located on the island of Tabarca. It was inaugurated in 2002 in the old building of the Almadraba, a storage used primarily for storing tuna fish.

The museum focuses on the study and dissemination of the relationships that have been established with coastal populations, and through time with the natural environment, applying a paradigm of the island of Tabarca, and thus exposing the natural space, land and ocean, along with its historical site.

There are two rooms: One is dedicated to audiovisual contents, videos are projected about the history between man and the marine environment, the other centers around the permanent exposition of the museum, where vestiges of the Roman era are shown, plans, photographs, ethnographic information, etc..
